WoT Assembly Line: May-June 2015 Edition

Spring has come and soon will be gone as Summer brings the heat and longer days of sun!

WoT has seen flurries of activity split by droughts of game play.  Clan Wars has been a flurry of activity with the annual ‘Total War’ player made event that happens at the end of the collegiate school year.  Battles have been fast and furious and has brought back energy to CWs and killed most of the gold farming boringness.  It’s given some new life to the game.  At the time of this post, the event has ended and its back to the same old same old till the next campaign begins.

WoT Assembly Line: April 2015 Edition

WoT has been languishing as of late!  Quite simply, Pillars of Eternity has absorbed a large amount of time lately and has proven way more interesting in grinding the few lines I have left to complete.  I think my WoT malaise is very similar to that experienced from MMO players near the end of game content where the itch to go somewhere else for entertainment begins to grow.  I don’t think I will go play another ‘War Sim’ like War Thunder, Modern Warfare or World of Warships having spent so much time and money on WoT.  Who knows, I may have a change of heart for a little if WoT brings out their PvE content as well other items to broaden the game experience.

WoT Assembly Line: February 2015 Edition

It's been a looooong time since the last update.  Holidays and playoff/Superbowl weekends kept the drunken play going on the weekend as the struggling stats.  I have gotten a bit more light hearted about it all since I can't seem to stop playing after the bars and the lines I am playing are what I see as the dregs of the lines I have left.  No point in getting irritated by it anymore!

However with some recent happenings, it may be time to get back to stat minding and maybe putting the crappy tank lines on the back burner...

WoT Assembly Line: December 2014 Edition

Things have been bloody since the last post!  When I say bloody, I mean a long drunken sessions with a sub 45% WR, nearing bot territory.  I had been grinding too many lines, not getting used to quite a few of the tanks and just playing poorly in an effort to get games in sober or in most cases drunk ;)  With that being said, decent progress was made and am ready to start start repairing my stats in preparation for new things!

WoT Assembly Line: November 2014 Edition

November is past its halfway mark already!  Lots of lines made decent progress despite Shadow of Mordor and Beyond Earth releasing.  With the help of special events like scouts weekend and the Veteran's Day bonuses, a lot of progress has been made.  All that progress had its cost, most every stat took a hit (Thanks arty!).  All that being said, let’s see what progress was made since October!

WoT Assembly Line: October 2014 Edition

Can't believe it is October already!  After a short hiatus after the launch off ArcheAge and getting Stats Paralysis in control, I am back to playing tanks full time.  So lets get to it!

WoT Stats Paralysis: Lights to the Rescue!

For quite a few months now I have not been having as much fun as I could have by sweating stats and performance in an effort to stay a viable candidate for joining a clan.  That being said, my primary focus has been on the British medium and heavy lines to have them finished by the time they release their end of the line replacements.   The British lines are fairly challenging with few of those tanks are able to reliably carry a match.  Armor on the mediums and heavies are dodgy at best, needing to stay hull down to perform to any degree.  The TDs once you get to the AT-15 starts to shine and their arty till this point is pretty lack luster.  The E50 is making it slowly to the end by being part of the daily rotation.

All of this has kinda put a damper on things.  Until…
